日本発のレストモッドメーカー Built By Legends（ビルト・バイ・レジェンズ） は、世界的ホンダチューナー SPOON（スプーン） の協力のもと、ベアシャシーから再生した EK9（初代シビック・タイプR） を、代官山 蔦屋書店にて初披露いたします。ひと目にはノーマルの面影を感じさせながらも、新たにデザインされたフロントバンパー、剛性を高めたシャシー、SPOONの手によって組み上げられたエンジン、そして内装の仕立てに至るまで、各部を丁寧に見つめ直し、細部まで磨き上げました。日本の匠の技と高度な再生技術を融合し、現代に甦った EK9。その佇まいと完成度を、ぜひこの機会にご覧ください。

また会期中は、本イベントを記念した Built By Legends × SPOON のコラボレーションアパレルをはじめ、1/43スケールの限定モデルカー、限定ピンバッジ などのアイテムを販売いたします。

Japanese restomod producer Built By Legends will unveil its latest project for the first time at Daikanyama T-Site: a fully restored & tastefully modified EK9 (first-generation Civic Type R), reborn from its bare chassis with the support of globally renowned Honda tuner SPOON.

While retaining a subtly OEM like appearance at first glance, the car has been meticulously reinterpreted and rebuilt in every detail, featuring a newly designed front bumper, a reinforced chassis, a freshly assembled engine by SPOON, and a carefully crafted interior.
This project represents the fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and advanced restoration technology, bringing the EK9 back to life for the modern era.

Throughout the exhibition, exclusive commemorative items will also be available, including Built By Legends × SPOON collaboration apparel, a Limited Edition 1/43 scale model car (produced by Make Up Co.), and exclusive pin badges.
