本展は、版画家にとって初めての代官山での展示です。
これまでの著書や版画集などから、または新作を含み、代官山 蔦屋書店に相応しい作品をオール・タイム・ベストのつもりであつめてみました。ここで紹介する無表情な人物や無愛想な動物たちの表情は、柳本 史特有の作風であり、あらかじめ特定の感情を提示しないため、かえって観る人の心に個人的な感情や記憶を喚起するようです。日なたの匂いや、愛すべきパートナーのぬくもりを感じ取ってください。

This exhibition marks the printmaker's first exhibition in Daikanyama.
We have gathered works that we believe are fitting for Daikanyama Tsutaya Books, including pieces from her previous books and print collections, as well as new work, as if to present an all-time best selection. The expressionless faces of the figures and unfriendly animals presented here are characteristic of Fumi Yanagimoto's style; by not presenting any specific emotions beforehand, they seem to evoke personal feelings and memories in the viewer's heart. Please feel the scent of sunshine and the warmth of a beloved partner.

柳本 史　Fumi Yanagimoto

版画家。
大阪府藤井寺市に生まれる。
武蔵野美術大学大学院彫刻コース卒業。
版画作品集に、
『ひなたのにおい』（2020）[目の眼]、
『だっこだっこ』（2022）[私家版]、
『UTOUTO 柳本 史小版画集』（2024）[未明編集室] がある。
著書に、外間隆史との共著『雨犬』（2023）、『銀座』（2025）、
『MAZURKA440』（2026）[未明編集室]がある。
『A RAIN DOG TOUR 2023』『UTOUTO TOUR 2024』と銘打った版画展で全国を巡回。
米インディーズ界のレジェンドthe Softiesの24年振りとなる新譜『The Bed I Made』のアルバム・カバーに彫り下ろし作品を提供（2024）。オランダの雑誌『flow』が８Ｐの特集（2025）。また、英米拠点の最大手美術系出版社PHAIDON PRESSが世界中の猫アートを集めて編んだアンソロジー『CAT』 （2026）にダ・ヴィンチ、ピカソ、マティス、奈良美智らと共に作品が収録されるなど世界的な評価が高まる。
東京郊外に家族・動物たちと共に暮らす。

Born in Fujiidera-city, Osaka.
Master of Arts in Sculpture at Musashino Art University.
Publications of woodblock prints collections include:
“Hinata no Nioi” ~Scent Of Sun (2020) [MENOME]
“Dakko Dakko” ~Cuddle Cuddle (2022) [Private Edition] and “UTOUTO”(2024) [MIMEI BOOKS].
Issued the picture book “A RAIN DOG” [MIMEI BOOKS],
with Takafumi Sotoma who wrote the story, in 2023.
And also “GINZA” [MIMEI BOOKS] in 2025.
Exhibited at bookstores nationwide at “A RAIN DOG TOUR” in 2023 and “UTOUTO TOUR” in 2024. In the same year, she provided a carving work for the front cover of "The Bed I Made" by the Softies, a legendary American indie scene, release their first new album in 24 years.
In 2025, the Dutch magazine “flow2 ran an eight-page feature on her.
Furthermore, her work has gained international acclaim, including being featured alongside works by Leonardo da Vinci, Picasso, Matisse, and Yoshitomo Nara in the anthology "CAT" (2026), compiled by PHAIDON PRESS, the largest art publisher based in the UK and US, which collects cat art from around the world.
