“WHERE THE WICK FLICKERS”

場所：代官山 蔦屋書店 2号館1階 アートフロア ｜ Hitomiは東京を拠点に活動する画家であり、身体・自然・知覚のあわいに立ち現れる生命の微細な気配を探求している。主にアクリルを用いたジェスチャー性の強い絵画を通して、言葉では捉えきれない知覚や存在感覚を視覚的なかたちへと変換している。

 

作品に現れる花は特定の植物ではなく、「存在の波としての花」として立ち現れる生命の振動の痕跡である。秩序と混沌、静けさと強度といった相反する要素が同時に存在する画面の中で、複数の感覚や存在の状態が響き合い、生命の変容のリズムが静かに立ち上がる。 公式Instagram：＠hitomiart Hitomi is a Tokyo-based painter who explores the subtle vitality that emerges between the body, nature, and perception. Through gestural acrylic painting, she translates sensations and emotional atmospheres that cannot be fully captured by words into visual form. The floral forms that appear in her work do not depict specific plants; rather, they emerge as what she describes as “flowers as waves of existence,” momentary manifestations of life’s vibration. Within the pictorial space―where order and chaos, stillness and intensity coexist―her work seeks to open a rhythm of transformation inherent in life.
