TSUTAYA BOOKS was established in 1983 as a bookstore of 105.78㎡(32 tsubo).
Since then, our goal has been "to be a place for lifestyle proposal" In May 2015.
We opened a TSUTAYA BOOKS, bigger than 3305.78㎡(1000tsubo) in Osaka, our starting place.
Here's every culture --not only books but also stationery,other goods for your life, and unique shops: seamlessly connected to offer you our sincere customers a time and place as comfortable as you have at your own home.
In a comfortable place built and designed by Klein Dytham Architecture, one of the creators of DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA BOOKS, we make lifestyle proposals as humanities, beauty, fashion, travel, and art. Besides, we have "a place to discover a new work style" here to show you our mastery of work style proposals as a special feature for this center of the city.
At "Magazine Street", you will find magazines from all over the world with latest information and it will lead you to a world of books of each genre. There are about five hundred chairs and sofas available throughout our store and you will be able to enjoy comfortably most of the books and magazines with a cup of coffee.
We regularly celebrate seminars to improve your intellectual productivity and cultural events to stimulate your intellectual curiosity at our big and small lounge. Here in this place to stimulate your creativity, please discover ways of working or spending your time you have never known.
